1996
March, two, three, four. My daughter in the homecoming
parade. Her first year in ROTC.
Christmas 1996. They love to tackle their father.
Chrsitina at five and Jeremiah at two. Wonder what her ROTC
instructor would think to see her looking down the barrel of a cannon!
Family vacation at Disney, 1997. What hams.
Me with two hours of sleep, making the kids take another
picture!
Pose with daddy and your brother before you go(Yes, my
children are very patient with their mom).
My son, the ham.
Conference fatigue in Orlando. A quick fifteen minute stop
in the room before I was off to more workshops. You never get enough sleep at
conferences.
I just love my kids. You say smile and this is the result.
On our way back from Orlando, we crossed into Georgia. This
sign about watch out for alligators could easily be put in Louisiana!
My daughter, her very first day in her ROTC uniform. Poor
child was NOT raised in a military town like my husband and I...When we went
home for Thanksgiving she saw several GI's walking through the mall and said,
"Look, mom. ROTC uniforms!"...After I got done laughing, I said,
"No, dear. You're wearing an Army uniform, not the other way around."
This is taken in my hometown of Lawton, Oklahoma. We have
"moutains" just out of town and this is the one you can drive up Mt.
Scott. My kids love to go climb on it.
Family portrait, revisited...the kids have to horse around
in at least half of the pictures!
A book signing in Duncan, Oklahoma for my first book! Can you
tell I was exhausted?
