Helping You To Get Published

After 10 years of writing, over half a million books in print, Cheryl Wolverton realized that free critiques didn't get the attention that a paid critique did. For one, most people who aren't paid simply rush through a manuscript, therefore, she started offering paid critiques.  Why paid?  Well, she has to supplement her income someway, she says!  But, she also is giving her expertise that many don't get online.  She goes through page by page, marking it up, sending articles back with her critiques in areas that the person may be weak, such as character, conflict, scenes.  She wants to make sure whoever she critiques gets the best critique possible.  And, she promises a follow-up with that critique.  So you are getting two critiques in one.  The first is on your original work, the second, through email, is on the revised version.  She prefers to do them through email. I've been asked over and over to do critiques.

I have always been an advocate of free critiques.  But because of my MS and the way I have slowed down so much, I have had to start charging.

I still do them, but prefer them through the email.  If I'm going to charge I want to make sure I do the best possible job. And email is certainly the fastest way to do them and get them back to the one who is anxiously awaiting it!

Below are my prices:

• Synopsis and first three chapters 60.00
• Synopsis only:  40.00
• First three chapters only 40.00
• Entire Manuscript over 75k  300.00
  If you need more, we can discuss it. 
  But three chapters is usually enough to get you on the right track.
